About Heracles No Eikou Iii - Kamigami No Chinmoku
Heracles No Eikou III came out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1992, developed and published by Data East. It was part of that wave of Japanese action RPGs that explored mythology, arriving when the SNES library was diversifying beyond its early hits.
You control the hero, Heracles, navigating a side scrolling world screen by screen. Your main goal is to restore the gods' power by finding the scattered Triforce like pieces, which involves exploring towns, talking to people for clues, and delving into multi level dungeons. Combat uses your sword for close attacks and a bow for ranged shots, requiring you to switch between them as enemies approach.
