Harukanaru Augusta 3 - Masters New (japan) (rev A) Game

Harukanaru Augusta 3 is one of those deep-cut golf sims from the SNES era that flew under the radar outside Japan. If you played the second one, this is more of that—polished, slightly quirky, and weirdly satisfying once you get the timing down.
First thing you’ll notice? The greens look way better than Augusta 2, with smoother animations when your ball rolls. The wind meter’s still brutal though—misjudge it by a pixel and your shot veers off into the rough. There’s a new caddie system where they suggest clubs, but half the fun is ignoring them and going for risky shots anyway.
It’s definitely a slow burn compared to arcade-style golf games, but nailing a long putt on the 18th hole feels legitimately rewarding. Just don’t expect flashy power-ups or gimmicks—this is straight-up, old-school golf with a side of 90s charm.
