Harley's Humongous Adventure is one of those weird, janky SNES platformers that somehow sticks with you. You play as a kid in a mech suit—basically a trash can with legs—bouncing around surreal levels full of giant pencils, killer vacuum cleaners, and other oversized household hazards. The controls take some getting used to (that jump arc is weird), but once it clicks, there's something oddly satisfying about stomping through a world where everything’s out to crush you. Also, the music slaps harder than it has any right to.
It’s not the prettiest or smoothest game on the system, but there’s charm in its clunkiness. You’ll either love it or rage-quit after the third time a rolling tape measure sends you flying into a pit.
