About Hammerlock Wrestling
Hammerlock Wrestling came out for the Super Nintendo in 1994, a time when the console was full of arcade-style sports games. It was developed and published by Jaleco, a company known for a variety of titles on the system. This one fit right into that era's trend of trying to capture the spectacle of professional wrestling in a pixelated format.
You control a single wrestler, moving from screen to screen in a side-scrolling environment to find your opponent. The main objective is to win matches by pinning your rival for a three count or making them submit.
