Remember those "Where's Waldo?" books you'd spend hours squinting at as a kid? This SNES version takes the third book—you know, the one with the pirates and the underwater scenes—and turns it into a weirdly addictive pixel hunt. You've got the same crowded, chaotic scenes, but now you're scrolling with a magnifying glass cursor while this bouncy carnival music plays in the background.
It sounds simple, but some of these levels are brutal—like the circus tent level where half the clowns are wearing stripes. Found myself getting way too competitive with the timer, especially when my little cousin kept beating my high scores. The two-player mode’s actually fun if you’ve got someone equally stubborn to race against.
Honestly, it’s a miracle this exists at all, but it’s weirdly faithful to the original book’s vibe.
