Gon on SNES is one of those weird little gems based on a manga nobody outside Japan really knew about. You play as this tiny, grumpy dinosaur who can't even talk—just nods or shakes his head—but somehow wrecks everything in his path with tail swipes and headbutts. The sprites are surprisingly detailed for an SNES game, and the levels have this odd charm, like hopping across lily pads or sneaking past sleeping bears.
It’s short, maybe too short if you’re used to sprawling platformers, but the animations are so expressive you’ll keep playing just to see Gon’s little reactions. Also, no dialogue means no language barrier, which was nice back when importing games was a gamble. Definitely a quirky one for collectors.
