Godzilla - Kaijuu Daikessen is that SNES fighting game where you pick a giant monster and just start wrecking everything. It’s not exactly Street Fighter—more like two lumbering kaiju slowly punching each other while buildings crumble around them, which honestly feels way more authentic.
You’ve got Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah, and a few others, each with their own weird moves. Mothra’s tiny but annoying with her flying and energy blasts, while Godzilla just stomps through everything like he owns the place. The sprites are huge, the screen shakes when someone lands a hit, and yeah, it’s exactly as ridiculous as it sounds.
It’s not super deep, but there’s something satisfying about charging up Godzilla’s atomic breath and watching the health bar melt. If you ever wanted to settle childhood arguments about who’d win in a fight between Mechagodzilla and Baragon, here’s your chance. Just don’t expect a comeback mechanic when you’re getting bodied by a surprise tail whip.
