Goal! on SNES is one of those early '90s soccer games that didn't exactly set the world on fire. The graphics are pretty basic—players look like little pixelated blobs running around a flat green field—and the gameplay is about as straightforward as it gets. No fancy tricks or special moves here, just pass, shoot, and hope for the best.
It's not terrible, but you can tell it was rushed out to cash in on the soccer craze. The controls are stiff, and the AI isn't exactly brilliant—your teammates sometimes just stand there like they forgot why they're on the pitch. Still, if you're nostalgic for that era of sports games, it's got a certain charm. Just don't expect anything close to FIFA.
Honestly, you're better off playing something like Super Soccer if you want a decent SNES football fix.
