About Ghoul Patrol
Ghoul Patrol came out for the Super Nintendo in 1994, a LucasArts release that arrived when the SNES library was already packed with action games. It was a follow-up to Zombies Ate My Neighbors, sharing a similar look and feel but with its own identity. You don't hear about it as often as some other titles from that era, but it has a dedicated following.
You control one of two monster hunters, exploring levels screen by screen to wipe out all the undead creatures. Your main goal is straightforward: clear each area of enemies before moving on. You use a variety of weapons, from crossbows to magical staves, and you can find keys to unlock new sections. The game is known for its fast pace and can be quite difficult, with enemies swarming from all directions. Playing it feels like a frantic scramble to survive each new screen.
