Full Power on SNES is one of those weird, obscure Japanese titles that never made it overseas—which is a shame, because it’s a surprisingly solid action-RPG. You start off as this lone warrior in a futuristic city, slashing through robots with a sword that feels way too big for the screen. The sprites are chunky, the music’s got that classic SNES synth vibe, and the controls are just stiff enough to make you work for every hit.

What’s cool is how it mixes hack-and-slash combat with light RPG elements—you level up, find better gear, and the enemies actually get tougher instead of just throwing more of them at you. The first boss took me a few tries, mostly because I kept underestimating how slow your dodge roll is. Definitely worth a look if you’re into forgotten 16-bit gems. Just don’t expect a polished localization—menus are in Japanese, but you’ll figure it out.
