Front Mission: Gun Hazard is this weird, cool little SNES gem that mashes up side-scrolling mech action with RPG elements. You pilot these chunky, customizable Wanzers (that's Front Mission-speak for mechs) through missions where you're blasting enemies, jumping platforms, and occasionally getting upgrades that actually make a difference.

At first, it feels like a standard run-and-gun, but then you realize you can swap out weapons, tweak your loadout, and even grind a bit if a boss wrecks you. The controls take a second to click—your mech moves kinda heavy, but once you adjust, it’s satisfying to stomp around and unload missiles into enemy squads.
