Man, Frogger on SNES takes me back. You know that moment when you first boot it up and hear that bouncy little theme music? Instant nostalgia. The pixel art holds up surprisingly well—those cars look like they’re actually speeding, and the water animations? Weirdly satisfying.
At first, it seems simple: just get the frog home. But then you misjudge a log’s speed, or a truck comes out of nowhere, and suddenly you’re yelling at the screen. The alligators are the worst—they look like they’re napping until they snap at you mid-hop. Classic arcade chaos.
It’s one of those games where you swear you’ll stop after one round, but then you’re five frogs deep, muttering “just one more try.” The SNES version nails that old-school challenge without feeling cheap. If you’ve got a soft spot for retro games that don’t hold your hand, this one’s still a blast.
