About Frantic Flea
Frantic Flea came out in 1996 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, developed by Haus Teknikka. It was part of that late SNES period where developers were still experimenting with the hardware, creating games that felt a bit different from the usual platformers and RPGs dominating the system.
You control a flea named Flease, and your goal is to rescue your kidnapped girlfriend by navigating through a series of themed worlds. The main mechanic involves bouncing; you jump continuously and use that momentum to ricochet off enemies and walls to reach higher platforms. You collect power-ups that change your attack, like turning your bounce into a projectile or a short-range burst.
