Oh man, Flintstones: The Treasure of Sierra Madrock is such a weird little SNES gem. You'd think it'd be some lazy licensed game, but nah—it's actually a full-on puzzle platformer where Fred and Barney go treasure hunting. The first thing that hits you is how bizarrely detailed the sprites are—Fred's got this weirdly expressive face when he jumps, and Barney's stubby little legs somehow make climbing ladders hilarious.
Gameplay's simple but sneaky—you're pushing rocks, avoiding caveman-era traps (pterodactyls just dive-bombing outta nowhere), and solving block puzzles that start easy but get mean fast. The music's got that classic SNES cheese too, all bouncy and over-the-top. Honestly? Way better than it had any right to be. If you dig old-school platformers with dumb charm, this one's a solid time.
