Play Firestriker Online

Firestriker came out for the Super Nintendo in 1994, developed by DTMC. It was one of those later SNES titles that tried something a bit different, mixing action with an unusual core mechanic. You play as the last Firestriker, tasked with freeing conquered kingdoms from monsters summoned by the Arch Mage Wylde.

You control the Firestriker character directly, moving him around each screen to strike the Trialight, a ball of fire that behaves like a pinball. Your main goal is to guide this ball to the level exit, which is often blocked by destructible obstacles or enemies that only the Trialight can destroy. The game progresses screen by screen, with a world map connecting the levels, and you'll need to defeat bosses and rescue other Firestrikers to gain new abilities. The constant need to protect both yourself and the ball from falling off-screen creates a tense, fast-paced challenge. It feels like a frantic puzzle where you are both the player and the flipper.
