Finalset on the SNES is one of those obscure Japanese titles that never made it overseas, which is a shame because it's got this weirdly addictive puzzle gameplay. You're basically dropping colored blocks onto a grid, trying to match sets before the screen fills up—sounds simple, but the timing gets brutal fast.
The controls are super responsive, and the music has that classic SNES synth vibe that somehow makes stacking blocks feel intense. I kept thinking "one more try" until I realized an hour had passed. If you're into retro puzzle games that don't hold your hand, this one's a hidden gem.
