Final Stretch is one of those early '90s F1 racers that somehow nails the speed feel even on the SNES. The tracks are tight, the cars slide just enough to keep you on your toes, and that low-res crowd blurring past actually sells the illusion. First race in, I spun out at the first hairpin—turns out braking early is key when your tires sound like they're made of soap.
It's got all the official teams and drivers from the '93 season, which is cool if you're into that era. The AI isn't pushover either—they'll squeeze you against barriers if you leave an opening. Music's pure cheesy synth, but it weirdly works when you're holding onto 3rd place with half a lap left.
Not the deepest sim, but way more fun than it has any right to be for a 16-bit F1 game.
