Final Fight Guy is basically the SNES version of Final Fight, but with a twist—you play as Guy instead of Cody. Same streets, same thugs, same satisfying punch-to-the-gut action, just with a ninja instead of a brawler. Haggar’s still here, though, and honestly, who doesn’t love suplexing random goons as a former wrestler turned mayor?
The game throws you right into the grimy Metro City streets, smashing through waves of Mad Gear gang members with simple but brutal combos. Guy’s faster than Cody, so if you prefer quick kicks over haymakers, he’s the pick. Just don’t expect any major changes—it’s the same arcade-style chaos, just with a different lead.
It’s a solid port, even if the SNES couldn’t quite match the arcade’s crunch. Still, there’s something weirdly satisfying about clearing a screen of enemies with a well-timed spinning kick.
