Final Fight Guy on SNES is basically the cooler, slightly more obscure cousin of the original Final Fight—you play as Guy, the ninja dude who was just a side character before. Metro City’s still a mess, and you’re punching your way through waves of goons with that classic arcade feel. The sprites are chunky, the music slaps, and yeah, you’ll probably get sucker-punched by Andore a few times before figuring out his pattern.
It’s got that same co-op chaos if you grab a buddy, but honestly, even solo, there’s something satisfying about landing Guy’s wall-jump kicks. The bosses are ridiculous in the best way—like, one’s a literal poison-spewing clown. If you’re into 90s beat ‘em ups, this one’s a solid deep cut. Just don’t expect Haggar’s wrestling moves—Guy’s all about speed and combos.
