Fever Pitch Soccer on SNES is one of those early '90s football games that feels rough around the edges but weirdly charming. The controls take a minute to get used to—passing feels stiff at first, but once you figure out the timing, you can pull off some surprisingly smooth plays. The pixelated crowds in the background just kinda wiggle, and the commentary is hilariously basic ("GOAL!" in a robotic voice never gets old).

It’s not as polished as later SNES sports titles, but there’s something fun about how chaotic matches get when everyone’s sliding into tackles.
