About Family Feud (rev A)
Family Feud (Rev A) came out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1993, developed by Imagineering. It was part of that wave of games that tried to bring popular TV game shows right into your living room, a common sight on the SNES during that period.
You control a cursor to select answers from a list, trying to guess the most popular survey responses. The main goal is to beat the other family by scoring more points across the rounds, including the Fast Money finale. Key mechanics involve buzzing in to answer first, then working through the board to reveal all the hidden answers before your strikes run out. The game moves quickly, especially when you're under pressure to think of common phrases, and the difficulty really depends on how well you can guess what other people said. It feels like a direct, if sometimes frantic, translation of the TV show's simple, competitive fun.
