About F1 Pole Position (beta)
Human Entertainment released F1 Pole Position for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1992. This game arrived early in the SNES lifecycle, a time when racing simulations were pushing into new territory with Mode 7 scaling effects. It was one of the first serious Formula One attempts on the console, setting a baseline for what would follow.
You control a single Formula One car from a first-person perspective, navigating through a full season of Grand Prix circuits. Your primary objective is to qualify well and then win each race, managing your car's fuel and tire wear over the distance.
