Exertainment Life Fitness Mega Cart (europe) (proto) Game

Ever heard of a fitness game for the SNES that actually makes you sweat? Exertainment Life Fitness Mega Cart is this weird, rare proto where you pedal a real exercise bike hooked up to the console. Yeah, it's as janky as it sounds—your speed in-game depends on how fast you're spinning those wheels.
The game itself is a mix of basic racing and obstacle courses, with these blocky 16-bit graphics that somehow make biking through deserts and forests feel oddly intense. At first, I thought it was just a gimmick, but after 10 minutes, my legs disagreed. There’s something hilariously brutal about realizing your on-screen character slows down because you got tired.
Honestly, it’s more of a novelty than a must-play, but if you’ve got a bike controller (or just want to see how ’90s fitness tech tried way too hard), it’s a bizarre little time capsule. Just don’t expect Mario Kart.
