About Exgfx Hack V2
ExGFx Hack V2 is a modified version of a Super Nintendo game that was never officially released. It exists as a fan project, built on the original code but altering many of its elements. Playing it feels like uncovering a lost prototype from the SNES era, something that could have been but never was.
You control a character navigating through side scrolling environments, moving screen by screen. Your main goal is to advance through stages, fighting enemies and avoiding environmental hazards. The hack introduces altered physics, giving jumps a different weight and momentum than the original. Enemy placements and item locations are changed, demanding new routes and strategies. The difficulty can be sharp, with some sections requiring precise timing and pattern recognition. It feels like learning a familiar game all over again, where old muscle memory can betray you.
