About Earthworm Jim 2 (beta)
Earthworm Jim 2 came out for the Super Nintendo in 1995, developed by Shiny Entertainment. It was part of that era when platformers were experimenting with more personality and bizarre settings, moving beyond the straightforward run and jump formulas.
You control Jim, an earthworm in a robotic suit, navigating surreal levels to rescue Princess What's-Her-Name. The main goal is to get through each stage, which often involves screen by screen exploration and using Jim's gun to blast enemies. Signature mechanics include using your own head as a whip to swing across gaps or attack, and piloting a rocket through tight corridors.
