Okay, so Drama Mistery is one of those weird little SNES games that somehow slipped under the radar. You play as Luigi—yes, that Luigi—but he’s paired up with this odd little dude named Kood, and they stumble into some glowy portal that dumps them in a world full of bizarre puzzles and cryptic dialogue. It’s like someone took a point-and-click adventure, gave it a jolt of 16-bit energy, and sprinkled in just enough nonsense to keep you guessing.
The pixel art has that classic SNES charm—lots of moody blues and purples in the portal world, and the music’s got this eerie, looping melody that sticks in your head. At first, I thought it’d be a straightforward fetch-quest thing, but nah, you’re poking around for clues, talking to weird NPCs who may or may not be lying, and occasionally getting jumpscared by random events. (There’s one hallway that still gets me.)
If you’re into obscure retro games with a side of surreal storytelling, this one’s a trip. Just don’t expect Mario-style platforming—it’s all about the mystery. And maybe bring a notepad for the puzzles.
