About Dragon - The Bruce Lee Story (europe)
Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story came out for the Super Nintendo in 1994, published by Virgin Interactive. It was one of many licensed games from that period, trying to capture the appeal of a major film on the 16-bit console. The game loosely follows the semi-fictional story from the movie about Bruce Lee's life.
You control Bruce Lee through side-scrolling levels, fighting various opponents using punches, kicks, and his signature two-finger push-up move. The main goal is to advance through each stage, defeating all the enemies that appear, while occasionally navigating simple platforming sections. Two key mechanics are the ability to perform special moves by inputting specific button combinations, and a life bar that depletes quickly if you are not careful. The pacing is generally fast, but the difficulty can be unforgiving, with enemies that attack relentlessly. Playing it feels like a constant test of your timing and reflexes against waves of opponents.
