Dr. Drago's Madcap Chase is a strategy and party game released for MS-DOS in 1995. Developed and published by Blue Byte Software GmbH, the game supports up to eight players and is presented from a top-down perspective. Its design draws inspiration from traditional board games, featuring a competitive race across a map of Europe and North Africa.

Players control a token on a map composed of interconnected fields, rolling a die each turn to determine movement distance. The primary objective is to accumulate the most money by the end of several rally stages. Each stage begins with a television moderator announcing a target capital city; the first player to reach that destination earns a significant cash prize. Players may freely choose their route across the map, but must strategically consider which type of field they land on, as different spaces offer various financial effects. A key gameplay system involves managing properties and chance cards, which can provide advantages or setbacks.

A central mechanic is the computer-controlled character, Dr. Drago, who appears after the first stage to pursue the player who was farthest from the previous target. Drago disrupts players by confiscating money, manipulating property deals, or destroying cards. Players can evade him by using a specific Drago card, if they possess one he has not yet destroyed, or by overtaking another player on the map, which transfers Drago's pursuit to that opponent. Victory is determined solely by total wealth after all stages, meaning a player can win without ever finishing a stage first, though this requires careful financial management from landing on beneficial spaces while avoiding Drago's persistent interference.
