Demo World Ory is one of those SNES games that feels like it got lost in the shuffle back in the day—which is a shame, because some of these levels are absolute gold. You start off jumping through these bright, chunky pixel worlds, and within minutes you’re hitting switches, dodging weird little enemies, and figuring out how to climb floating platforms that shouldn’t even work but somehow do.
What I love is how unpredictable it gets. One stage has you bouncing off giant mushrooms like some kind of demented pinball, and the next throws a puzzle at you where timing is everything. It’s got that classic "just one more try" energy, especially when you’re halfway through a level and realize you missed a hidden path.
If you’re into that era where games didn’t hold your hand but still felt fair, this one’s a blast. The music’s got that crunchy SNES charm too—catchy but not annoying after the 20th death. Definitely worth dusting off the old console for.
