Dead Dance (japan) Game

Dead Dance (or Tuff E Nuff, depending on where you played it) is one of those weird, rough-around-the-edges SNES fighters that somehow sticks with you. Jaleco dropped this one after a nuclear war wiped out most of civilization, so you get these gritty, post-apocalyptic fighters brawling in ruined cities and wastelands.
The roster’s a mixed bag—some characters feel like Street Fighter rejects, while others have this janky charm. There’s a dude with a boomerang, a cyborg, even a guy who fights with… a balloon animal? Yeah, it’s bizarre. The controls take some getting used to (good luck pulling off special moves consistently), but there’s something oddly satisfying about the weight of the punches and kicks.
It’s not gonna dethrone Street Fighter II, but if you’re into obscure 90s fighters with a weird atmosphere, it’s worth a few rounds. Just don’t expect polished combos or balanced matchups.
