About Daffy Duck - The Marvin Missions
Daffy Duck: The Marvin Missions came out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1993, developed by Iguana Entertainment. It was part of that wave of licensed platformers that filled the shelves back then, a time when every cartoon character seemed to get their own game. This one put you in control of Daffy Duck, sent on a mission to stop Marvin the Martian.
You guide Daffy through a series of side scrolling levels, jumping across platforms and avoiding enemies. Your main goal is to collect pieces of a bomb that Marvin has scattered; you need to find them all to complete each stage. The gameplay involves a lot of exploration, often requiring you to backtrack through levels once you acquire new abilities. You get a projectile attack, a simple pop gun, to dispatch foes from a distance. The levels can be tricky, with some precise platforming and enemy patterns to learn.
