About Daffy Duck - The Marvin Missions (europe)
I first played Daffy Duck: The Marvin Missions on the Super Nintendo back in 1993. It was published by Sunsoft, and it fit right in with the platformers of that era, a time when licensed games were a common sight on the system. You take on the role of Daffy Duck, or rather his Duck Dodgers persona, which sets up the sci-fi theme for the adventure.
You control Daffy through a series of side-scrolling levels, running, jumping, and using a limited supply of bombs to defeat enemies and break certain blocks. The main goal is to stop Marvin the Martian from destroying the Earth, which involves navigating through his ships and bases. The gameplay is built on screen-by-screen exploration, where you often need to find keys to unlock doors and progress. You also collect carrots to restore health, and the levels are filled with moving platforms and instant-death pits.
