A central narrative element in the campaign mode is the threat of a traitor, known as Cyber Judas, within the administration. This adversary uses the presidential information systems to sabotage operations, potentially causing loss of public faith, assassinations of cabinet members, or even the unauthorized launch of nuclear weapons. To counter this, players have access to an artificial intelligence program called TRACE, which supplies intelligence to help identify the traitor. The gameplay revolves around balancing broad geopolitical strategy with the urgent, internal investigation to prevent a catastrophic security breach.
