About Cosmo Gang - The Puzzle (japan)
Cosmo Gang: The Puzzle came out in 1992 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in Japan, developed and published by Namco. It was part of a wave of puzzle games on the SNES that offered a colorful, approachable alternative to the platformers and RPGs dominating the system.
You control a cursor at the bottom of the screen, aiming a cannon that shoots colored balls. Your main objective is to clear the screen by matching three or more balls of the same color before they pile up and reach the bottom. The core mechanics involve ricocheting your shots off walls for tricky angles and using special item balls that appear to clear large sections at once.
