Cookie Magic is one of those cozy little baking games where you just zone out and decorate cookies for way longer than you meant to. You play as Dorothy, who’s basically running a one-woman bakery operation—mixing dough, popping trays in the oven, then going wild with frosting and sprinkles. The decorating part is weirdly satisfying, especially when you mess up a design and end up with some abstract cookie art instead.

At first I thought it’d be super simple, but some of the later orders get oddly specific (like "make a cookie that looks like a cat wearing sunglasses," which... okay). The controls are straightforward—click, drag, frost—but good luck not getting distracted by all the colorful toppings. I may have spent 15 minutes perfecting a single unicorn cookie once.

It’s the kind of game you play with a snack beside you, because now you suddenly want real cookies.
