Conqueror is a tank action and strategy game released in 1988 for the MS-Dos platform. Developed and published by Superior Software Ltd., it is a real-time shooter presented from a third-person isometric perspective. The game features polygonal graphics and includes a control system designed to simulate the operation of a tank using standard joysticks.

Players command a squad of tanks with the primary objective of eliminating all enemy units on each map. Control is centered on one tank at a time, but players can instantly switch to any other friendly tank using an in-game map display. Tanks not under direct player control are managed by artificial intelligence. The map interface also allows for issuing movement orders to other units, though these commands are given while the real-time action continues uninterrupted. Gameplay involves maneuvering tanks, aiming and firing weapons, and managing the positioning of the entire squad under persistent enemy threat.

Progression is mission-based, with players using a preset group of tanks for each operation. Destroying enemy units grants resources, which are accumulated and can be spent to purchase additional tanks before commencing the next mission. The game also supports a cooperative two-player mode where each participant uses a separate joystick to control either the driving or gunnery functions of a single tank, dividing the operational responsibilities.
