Ever stumble across a weird, unfinished SNES game based on a movie? That's Congo: The Secret of Zinj—a prototype that somehow made it out into the wild. You play as this jungle expedition team (including a gorilla, because of course), shooting at... well, everything. Bats, tribesmen, more bats. The controls are janky, the graphics feel half-baked, and yet there's something oddly charming about how bizarre it is.
First ten minutes? You'll be fumbling through vine-covered ruins, wondering why your character moves like they're stuck in molasses. The sound effects are straight out of a 90s B-movie—lots of growls and questionable gunshot noises. I won't lie, it's not good, but if you're into obscure movie tie-ins or lost SNES relics, it's a fascinating little time capsule. Just don't expect a polished experience.
