Command Adventures: Starship is a science fiction video game released in 1993 for the MS-DOS platform. Developed by Future Vision, Inc. and published by Merit Studios, Inc., it combines arcade-style shooting with strategic elements. The game presents its spaceflight and combat from a top-down perspective.

Players begin by selecting one of twelve distinct races and starting at a starbase. From this hub, they can manage resources by hiring crew members and purchasing new ships and equipment. After departing the starbase, the player controls a starship in open space, navigating from an overhead view and engaging in direct combat with encountered alien vessels. A key gameplay system involves planetary exploration; upon finding a planet or a disabled ship, the player can land or dock and then assemble an away team from the available crew and gear. Successfully securing a planet requires including Engineers in the away team, who must construct an Isolation Grid by positioning units at the four corners of the map. Progression is driven by earning money, which is acquired through capturing alien weaponry or conquering unclaimed worlds.

The game's narrative is set in the year 2127, following a great interstellar war. With peace declared among twelve empires, many planets in the galaxy remain ungoverned. The player's role is that of a starship captain commissioned to explore these territories and claim them for the chosen race.
