Cliffhanger on SNES is one of those games that makes you grip the controller a little too tight. You start off clinging to a rock face, and within seconds, you're scrambling to avoid falling boulders or leaping across gaps that look way too wide. The controls are simple—just run, jump, and grab—but the timing? Brutal.
What I love is how the game keeps throwing surprises at you. One minute you're dodging an avalanche, the next you're swinging from a rope over a bottomless pit. The pixel art holds up surprisingly well, especially the way the cliffs crumble under your feet. Just don't get too distracted by the scenery—one wrong move and it's game over.
If you're into old-school platformers that don't hold your hand, this one's a solid pick. Just maybe keep a stress ball nearby.
