You explore areas screen by screen, talk to people whose lives change across time, and delve into dungeons that often have multi era puzzles. The pacing is brisk for a role playing game, and the difficulty feels fair, more about strategy than grinding. Moving through the ages and seeing how your small actions ripple forward gives the whole journey a surprising sense of weight.
