Okay, so this is a romhack for Chrono Trigger—you know, that legendary SNES RPG—but with one weird twist: Terra from Final Fantasy VI is somehow Crono’s mom now? Look, I don’t make the rules here. The actual game is still the same time-traveling masterpiece, just with some dialogue changes and a bizarre crossover element that makes zero sense but somehow works.
You’ll still recruit Frog (best character, fight me), duel Magus in that banger of a boss theme, and probably cry at the ending—but now with bonus existential confusion when Terra shows up in 600 AD like "Hey son." The patch doesn’t break anything, at least. It’s just… there. Like finding a slice of pizza in your cereal. Unexpected, but not entirely unwelcome.
If you’ve played Chrono Trigger a million times and want to experience it with a fresh layer of absurdity, this’ll do it. Otherwise, maybe just stick to the original. Terra deserves better than this.
