Chou Makai Taisen! Dorabot-chan (japan) Game

Chou Makai Taisen! Dorabot-chan is one of those weird, charming SNES gems that never left Japan. You play as Dorabot-chan, a little robot girl with a drill for a hand (because why not?), fighting through a surreal underworld full of bizarre enemies. The controls take a second to get used to—her drill attack has this weird delay at first—but once it clicks, you’ll be bouncing off walls and drilling through demons like some kind of mechanized pinball.
The art style is pure early '90s anime chaos, with bright colors and enemies that look like rejected toy designs. There’s something oddly satisfying about the way the screen shakes when you land a big hit. Just don’t expect a deep story—half the dialogue feels like it was translated by someone who gave up halfway through. Still, it’s got this weird energy that makes it hard to put down.
If you’re into obscure action-platformers with personality, this one’s worth a look. Just be ready for some jank—it’s part of the charm.
