Remember those old-school arcade beat 'em ups where you just plow through waves of bad guys? This is that, but with Avengers. You pick between Cap, Iron Man, Hawkeye, or Vision—each feels totally different, like Cap’s shield actually bounces off walls (if you time it right), while Iron Man just melts faces with his beams.
The levels are classic comic book stuff—you’ll punch robots in a city, then suddenly fight on a moving truck, then end up in some weird sci-fi base. The sprites are chunky in that perfect SNES way, and the music’s got that cheesy heroic synth vibe. It’s not super deep, but nailing a perfect shield throw into a crowd never gets old.
Fair warning: it’s tough. You’ll burn through lives if you just button-mash, especially against bosses like the Mandarin. But that’s part of the charm—this was back when games didn’t hold your hand. Grab a friend for co-op, pick Hawkeye because arrows are secretly OP, and enjoy the nostalgia trip.
