About Capcom's Soccer Shootout (beta)
Capcom's Soccer Shootout came out for the Super Nintendo in 1994, a time when the console was full of sports titles. It was developed by A-Max and published by Capcom, offering a straightforward arcade soccer experience without the complexity of some other games from that period.
You control a team of players, moving them around the field to pass and shoot the ball. The main goal is to score more goals than the opposing team. A couple of its mechanics include a power meter for shooting, which you charge up for stronger kicks, and the ability to perform sliding tackles to steal the ball. The game moves at a quick pace, and the difficulty can spike, especially when the computer decides to press hard on defense. It feels responsive and fast, making for a simple but engaging match.
