California Games II came out for the Super Nintendo in 1993, published by Nintendo. It was part of that wave of sports compilations on the SNES that focused more on fun than strict simulation.
You control an athlete across six different events: bodyboarding, skateboarding, jet skiing, snowboarding, roller skating, and hang gliding. The main goal is to get the highest score in each event by performing tricks and completing the course. Key mechanics include timing button presses for tricks during jumps on the skateboard or snowboard, and navigating the hang glider through rings by adjusting your pitch.
