Man, Bulls vs Blazers and the NBA Playoffs on SNES takes me back. The pixelated Jordan and Drexler sprites somehow feel more intense than modern graphics—maybe it’s the way the crowd goes nuts after a dunk, or how the announcer yells "FROM DOWNTOWN!" like he’s genuinely shocked.
First thing you’ll notice? The controls are stupidly simple—pass, shoot, steal—but good luck stopping MJ once he’s driving to the basket. The Blazers’ defense is brutal if you don’t time your moves right. And that playoff mode? Pure 90s drama, complete with those janky but charming cutscenes between quarters.
It’s not perfect (good luck calling a timeout without accidentally pausing), but the chaos of a last-second three-pointer still hits just right. Still my go-to when I need a quick basketball fix.
