Brutal: Paws of Fury is a fighting game released in 1995 for the MS-DOS platform. It was developed and published by GameTek, Inc. The game presents a side view perspective and features a cast of animal characters participating in a martial arts tournament organized by the Dalai Llama.

Players select one of the animal combatants to compete in a series of one-on-one duels. The objective is to defeat a sequence of computer-controlled opponents to progress through the tournament. Gameplay involves using standard punches and kicks, along with special attacks unique to each character. During a match, players can also perform a taunt move that restores a small amount of health. Each battle consists of a predetermined number of rounds, and the first fighter to win the majority of these rounds is declared the victor. Defeating an opponent allows the player to advance, while a loss results in a game over, though the option to continue is typically available. Upon completing the tournament with a chosen character, a specific ending sequence is shown.

In addition to the main tournament mode, the game offers a versus mode where players can engage in a single duel. This mode allows for the selection of both the opponent and the stage background, and supports fights against either the computer or a second human player. The visual style of the game is characterized by a cartoonish and cute aesthetic for its animal fighters. A notable difference in the MS-DOS version is that all special moves are available from the start, unlike some console releases which required players to unlock them through progression.
