Bram Stoker's Dracula on SNES is one of those weird licensed games that somehow works. It's based on the 1992 Coppola movie, but don't expect a direct adaptation—instead, you get this surprisingly solid side-scroller where you slash through bats, wolves, and creepy Victorian streets as Jonathan Harker.
The first thing you'll notice is how moody it feels for a 16-bit game. The backgrounds have this gothic vibe with flickering candles and eerie castle halls. Combat's simple but satisfying—your whip cracks just right, and there's something weirdly fun about bouncing on enemies' heads like a vampire-hunting Mario.
It's not perfect (some of the platforming gets janky), but if you're into that era of SNES action games, it's a fun little time capsule. Just don't go in expecting deep lore—this is pure monster-slashing with a Hollywood coat of paint.
