Bobby's World on SNES is one of those weird, forgotten prototypes that never got an official release—which honestly makes it kinda fascinating. It's based on the 90s cartoon, so you're running around as this little kid with an overactive imagination, jumping between real-world levels and his wild, exaggerated fantasy landscapes.
The controls are... well, they feel like an early 90s platformer, so expect some stiffness. But there's something charming about the way Bobby bounces around, smashing into giant pencils or dodging living pizza slices in his daydreams. The colors pop, and the music has that unmistakable SNES synth sound.
It's rough around the edges (no surprise for a prototype), but if you're into obscure retro stuff or just want to see what could've been, it's a neat little time capsule. Definitely more interesting than some of the licensed shovelware that actually made it to store shelves.
