Block Kuzushi came out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1995, developed by Bottom Up. You control a paddle at the bottom of the screen, moving it left and right to bounce a ball and break all the blocks. The main goal is to clear each stage completely before you run out of balls. Its signature mechanics include power-up blocks that change your paddle's size or give you multiple balls, and stage layouts that sometimes scroll vertically, revealing new rows of blocks to destroy. The pacing is methodical; you need to aim carefully and manage the chaos when several balls are in play. It feels straightforward and satisfying when you finally clear a tricky screen.
